For centuries we have taken our natural resources and the Environment for granted. We had always assumed that natural resources were infinite, and took it for granted that the Environment would always have a benign influence on all of us. We had, for centuries, assumed that mother Earth was generous with its resources, forgiving of our thoughtless acts, and would always provide for us.

This sanguine outlook was understandable when planet Earth supported a much smaller population - most of them rural and widely and thinly scattered.  And industrial activities were limited to just a few wealthy industrialised countries.

This is no longer true, as more and more countries become industrialized. As they industrialise, they decimate large areas of friendly forest cover, consume large quantities of natural resources and discharge a wide range of air and water pollutants.
 
Over the last forty years, with the help of computerised processing of ground-based data, and with the help of satellite imaging, we have come to face a few sober realities. We now realise that natural resources are not infinite, the earth ecosystem being delicate, complicated and finely balanced, cannot take abuse indefinitely without collapsing, and that even our health and well being can suffer seriously from environmental hazards. Such hazards include excessive exposure ultraviolet radiation from the sun that can cause skin cancer, and pollutants in the air that can adversely affect our health and appearance. We cannot escape. We are all exposed to these hazards, as several large economies become industrialised and motorised, generating ever-larger quantities of pollutants that contaminate the water we drink and the air we breathe.
 
It is against this background knowledge and sensitivity that 10B International’s Environmental Care Division (ECD) approaches its work. ECD is conscious of the great need for products that can clean and enhance our environment, and protect our health and wellbeing.
 
ECD has a sharply defined objective: it focuses on the research and development of products that clean the environment in which we live and work. This includes the air, water and solid surfaces with which we come into contact. As an environment-friendly cleaning agent, all ECD products are made from natural sources, and are free of chemical constituents. As such, they are completely safe.
